the 4th

Well. I had a fun 4th of July weekend. Justin and I went up to Lake Powell. Many exciting things happened. Right after we took off we got a call from Justin's roomie saying his dog needed to go t the ER, so we whipped around and spent a couple hours in the doggie hospital. Kobi (the dog) had to spend the night, but thankfully made a full recovery and is once again a happy healthy Pug.

After that fun, we drove up to Flagstaff and stayed the night there, then attempted to hit Page in the morning. And we did ... after a fun detour in the middle of no where. Our GPS directed us off the highway and put us onto a deserted gravel road ... that we decided to follow instead of turn around. Thankfully, we ended up in Page.

Once in Page we had fun. We went rafting down the Colorado River, saw the Grand Canyon, swam around Lake Powell, saw some awesome Page fireworks, and much more. I even got Justin to jump into the Colorado River with me .. which is a warm 45 degrees F.

This trusty GPS not only let us on gravel roads, it took us right into Lake Powell. Good thing Justin has an amphibious vehicle.
I came to love this sign. It's posted everywhere and shows a dude killing himself. Heart warming.
Glen Canyon dam ... and seen from the bottom in the CO River
Lake Powell!!
The water was really really cold in Lake Powell, but thankfully Justin is really really hotttttt.
As cute as my swimsuit is - it's uncomfy ... but the day was perfect. Check out that weather!
It was really windy, he's trying to hold on to his hat, not gaze out into the distance
On the rafting trip...

That's because you are... unworthy to even know me, that is.
